How to authorise someone else to act on your behalf

Please follow the steps for either academic transcript request or urgent academic transcript request

Due to the Privacy Act, if you wish for a third party (eg. family member, partner, friend) to collect an official academic transcript on your behalf you must provide them with a third party authority form. This form will need to be received by Student Connect - you can email it along with your academic transcript request form or have your third party bring it in with them.  For example, in the case of urgent requests for academic transcript the third party can bring the three items in person; for a standard request for academic transcript the three items can be either emailed to transcripts@mq.edu.au, posted, faxed, or brought in by the third party.

How to request an unofficial academic transcript

Current students can generate an unofficial transcript via eStudent.

>  Log in to eStudent

>  Go to the My Results and Graduation tab

>  Select your current study plan   -  this will give you a results overview screen

>  Click on  Email my unofficial transcript button.  There is no cost for having this internal record emailed to you.

>  You should then see a screen confirming your request has been submitted

>  A copy of your unofficial transcript will be sent to your student email account - usually within approx 10 minutes

>  Open the unofficial transcript you received and scroll down to the bottom of the document where you will find a credit point summary and your GPA.

This internal record will be emailed to the student's Macquarie email address - there is no cost for this.

Previous Macquarie students requiring an unofficial transcript can do so by following the steps in How to request an official academic transcript however payment is not required so please leave these details blank.

How to have an academic transcript sent to an organisation/institution
